H Mart in Federal Way

They have a great selection of foods, snacks, noodles, chips, restaurants, and sometimes they have samples if you want an idea of what their food tastes like.Check out share tea when your done visiting.Overall very good. I'll be back when the virus is done...hopefully😅

What an outstanding place. Terrific produce, fantastic selection in general and very good pricing.

Found fresh Thai basil and mung bean sprouts reasonably priced and with a quick checkout.The day before I had to make a return and custoner service was very courteous.

It was perfect and I found everything on my list and more. I really appreciate the service nature of the security too. She proactively promotes trust and respect, so smart it elicits mad respect.

I just moved to the neighborhood during this pandemic. I bought a metal shelf organizer just to find out it won't fit in my cabinet. By following the Stay at home law, I revisited the store 10days later. the organizer was not used with the label on. The store manager came to see the receipt and said that the store has the 7days return policy and there is nothing she can do. Well, I will have to keep the useless item.but the poor service may keep me from the store too.

Do NOT go here! I visited yesterday , turned around and left! NO sanitization available for the carts, no one keeping count of how many people were there, nor was there any enforcement of social distancing! ABSOLUTE disregard for customer or employee safety during this time of crisis!

This Federal Way location offers much more than the Tacoma location. If you live in Pierce county, but have the option to travel a bit further to Federal Way, I recommend it. Meat department is clean. Offering fresh caught seafood. It is posted where the fish came from, etc. If you're not going to buy fresh, I suggest frozen from the manufacturer in original packaging for dated reliability. Housewares Dept is large. I could spend an hour in this section alone! I love looking at all the kitchen ware!

My two younger siblings went into the store with bags from another store that they had just shopped at. They had gone into the produce section and saw a worker come down from the second floor and converse with the security guard at the front door while pointing at the two of them without interacting with them at all. Despite the amount of other people who had bags and were shopping, the worker singled out my siblings and had security amble over and tell them to leave their bags at the front of the store. I found that behavior entirely unfair and completely rude. Because of this experience, my siblings refuse to go into the store because they don’t want to go through that again. We’ve shopped at this store multiple times as we live in the neighborhood and to hear that that happened is just downright upsetting and frustrating!

Good store. The only issue I have is that they use so much plastic. Many things are portioned out, so to buy 3 zucchini it comes with plastic, starafoam, and more plastic.

Much larger and better selection than the other HMart in Tacoma. Better all around with lots of other things very nearby.

This place has everything you need and then some! Come hungry and eat in the food court before buying WAY more stuff than you came in for. Definitely pick up some banchan from the deli!!

We love the variety of Asian foods that can be found here that aren't in a standard grocery store. The produce section is outstanding! Huge variety of seafood and meat selections, and the small "restaurants" are very good.

This store is great. Been there twice and browsed & shopped for a couple of hours each visit. Wish we didn't live so far away. We'd be regulars here. The selection is phenomenal.

HMart Federal Way is very nice! The KPOP playlist over the intercome is soothing! I Love Koren Food!

My wife went to the store and bought the item and have a reciept after pating her stuff she went to the restroom and she went out and there a employee who chase her and touch her arm and think she steal but she pull out the reciept and the employee taught that she stole something and that was wrong to accuse her that way

Looking for Korean foods? There is not every Korean foods, but most of it. Do you like Korean BBQ? Then here is a perfect place to get stuffs. Do you look for sauces? There is all kind of sauces. Do you like so-ju? You can buy them here.

They always have lots of diverse products at reasonable prices which is awesome! Unfortunately some diversity training is lacking. The h mart restaurant experience is good food but costumer service is so bad. They don’t care to help you. I asked to file a complaint and it took 4 people to find the paper for me and took them a long while and to even understand me. I get that not everyone speaks English but once you do get someone... they should be organized to find such files... I was heart broken and embarrassed having to wait for the paper while costumers waited behind me in the line.

Wow! Such a selection of beautiful produce! Economical selections of fresh and frozen fish,, delicious deli items.soups and potstickers. Salads and much more. If u r curious about prep or suggestions, any one is available to help. Lychee Sake to sushi n hot humbles too. This is an adventure !

Nice & spacious Asian market. Wide variety of fruits & vegetables, seafood, méat. Good choice n nice Korean restaurants

This is a supermarket for Asian food, with a great selection of fresh produce, meat and seafood (much of which you won't be seeing where you normally shop). Also all the noodles and spices and kitchen supplies you can imagine from SE Asia. Very competitive prices. It's a great store.

Some things are way to over priced but they do have some good deals. They also have miscellaneous things that you dont see all the time in regular stores.

The store is nice and has a variety of Asian food but the cashiers should at least smile and say hi or thank you for shopping here or just some type of welcoming comment.

Great store, big focus on asain ethnic foods, some regular grocery items, not so much. Best prices on Sriracha for sure, along with multiple choices

Absolute they love this place! As long as you aren't looking for American food they have some many different types of goodies and the best selection of rice I can find anywhere and their little bakery is awesome

Best place you could dream of if you're a low budget family in need of quality food and lower prices. Expect a wonderful selection!

I love the produce selection here and the meat/seafood department is extensive. Friendly enough staff that is always very busy and not focused on the "can I help you" model. If you need help, ask. Otherwise, check it out and explore. You may find something new to try.

Interesting place to shop. It was very cold in there. Goy some meat in there and it was excellent. Everything is very fresh.

H mart not a good place to buy American food. milk and cold cereal to expensive. And I have bad experience there more than once when I first to federal way try being Hispanic and shopping in a Korean store bad idea. Cashier gets rude at me for asking for to left a case of water and put it my shopping cart. U can't but Hispanic items here because they don't sell them.

This place has such wonderful selection of foods and home wares. Fresh meats, seafood and veggies. Excellent kimchi selection!!!

I went there today 5/25/2020 and the lady at the cash register N1 was very rude and condescending! I politely asked her a question and she got irritated and told me “I don’t know and I don’t care, go ask customer service, I’m busy”. Someone who is not good with customers should not be working at a register. That store just lost my business!

The small stores they partnered with always looked like they weren't doing good businesses, but I do like how they set the aisles and sometimes there's sales. It can get crowded during the weekends.

Fun and full of fantastic foods you can only find here! Duck eggs, thank god, and a huge tea isle. Also found ginsing candy, very pleased overall.

Always been able to find the items I need. Love coming in after store opens before crowd I'll find more items to try

It has a lot to choose from and the food we got there was fresh and full of flavor. The one downside is that it's a little more packed than a more chain grocery store and a little busy on Sundays. Other than that I really enjoyed the experience of shopping there

I shop at hmart for lot of stuff. Just be careful with buying any household products. Not only they will not accept return for any excuse and rule. Ur recipe or time of the return will not matter. Make sure to open the box and check everything is there. Befor that make sure you will not return the item what so ever. Because they wont take it. I really hope one bad customers service wont put bad names on them. But reading all the reviews, seems like the household department really need to be addressed. Theres reason why most of the bad review is from that department. I'm sure everyone is hard worker there. Just need to improve on household department.
